The second DC was added to the tree. We had thought previously that only one of the DC would need to update the DNS for the AD to work properly. It turns out that all of the DC need to update the DNS. After Mike added it to the DNSupdate list, it worked fine.

Patrick found a solution to the problems that Eric was having with terminal services on his server. Licenses were being consumed from the pool and the server kept running out. A pair of patches changed some of the defaults. Licenses now have an expiration date. After 54-90 days (randomly determined) and if a license has gone unused, it will be reclaimed by the server. The second patch caused the server to issue a temporary certificate until the user authenticates. After authentication is complete, a permanent license is issued. Eric will try them out and report on how they worked.
